OPAM is a pan London organisation and currently operates in the boroughs of City and Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets, Camden and Islington, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Croydon, Merton, Enfield and Haringay, Brent and Harrow, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham (LSL) area. OPAM has satelite offices in City and Hackney, Camden and Islington and Ealing Hammersmith &Fulham areas. We intend to expand to include other areas within and outside London, when resources allow, as there is great demand for our services.
Our Activities and Services

We provide peer support and advice to African HIV positive men on a regular basis in different parts of London.

Organise and hold workshops, seminars and other training events in which topics of special concern to those affected and infected with HIV are discussed.

Organise and participate in Health promotion events with specific themes to be addressed.

Conduct out-reach activities for condom distribution, informative leaflets, and follow up visits to those who are unwell in hospitals.

Provide positive speaking opportunities for those who wish to discuss HIV issues in general and particular issues affecting men and their dependants, plus any other specific situations of people from Africa with HIV.

Arrange referrals for members who need them to other special Service Providers.
Organise social events to boost the morale and provide a conductive environment for those affected to freely interact, socialise and share experiences.
